BOISE, IDAHO—In a massive expansion of its online radio offerings, NewReleaseTuesday.com–the largest site online for Christian music and entertainment–has grown from one online radio station to three, marking the beginning of the NRT Radio Network.
The network–created by NRT President/Founder Kevin McNeese and managed by newly hired Program Director Travis Culver who brings nearly 10 years of radio, social media and music programming expertise to the team–is made possible by a strategic partnership and sponsorship agreement with Rain On Me Productions and its subsidiary companies, Jam The Hype and Save The City Records.

Starting Aug. 14, NRT’s first online radio station, NRT Radio One, will be joined by Jam The Hype radio as the network’s urban/hip-hop station, as well as a brand-new electronic dance music station, NRT Radio Remix.

“The music landscape is changing rapidly in musical tastes, and through this partnership, we’re helping the Christian market stay relevant by bringing urban and EDM music to listeners,” said Derek Hoiem, CEO of Rain On Me Productions, “Our artists on Save The City, as well as others in these fast-growing genres, will now have an outlet on the premier Christian music destination on the Web, which is critical for reaching a Millennial audience.”

Listeners can access all three stations at the newly relaunched www.NRTRadio.com, along with the brand new NRT Radio Network app, available soon on the App Store and Google Play for both iOS and Android users, respectively. The app also features NRT’s breaking news social media feeds and its exclusive New Album Preview stream.

In addition to movement on the broadcasting side, NRT’s production and syndication division continues to grow with the addition of Jam The Hype’s weekly syndicated two-hour show, Jam The Hype Live with Chris Chicago alongside a brand new Urban edition of the Weekly News Minute featuring Ellie Andrews.

Jam The Hype Live with Chris Chicago is the 5th full-length program offered by NRT, joining top-notch shows such as The Reconstruction with David Thulin (EDM), Sunday Morning Drive with Brenton Miles (progressive worship), The Z-Rock Revolution with Josh Ashton (rock/alternative), as well as the in-depth interview show NRT Insider with Bill Lurwick. These programs, along with other smaller daily and weekly segments, are free and available to both commercial and non-commercial terrestrial and online stations at nrt.cc/freeradio.

“We are dedicated to changing the way people discover Christian music through radio,” concludes McNeese. “We’re excited to see what the future holds as we refocus and triple our efforts for our listeners.”

About Rain On Me Productions and Save The City Records:

Rain On Me Productions is the parent company of Jam The Hype and Jam the City Internet radio, and Save the City Records. In 1997, Derek Hoiem had a vision to assist musicians in local churches, and having been a software designer for Microsoft, he knew that the digital wave would bring massive change to the music industry. After investigating music business models, he found that record labels were necessary but needed to change by adopting the indie wave.  After recording and working with indie artists for about 5 years, in 2008, Hoiem launched Save the City Records as a national brand.  After garnering critical acclaim on iTunes and media outlets, Save the City Records landed a distribution deal with Provident Distribution.  Over the last several years, the company has picked up more artists who have been featured on iTunes, played on national radio, ranked on the Billboard charts, and featured at national music festivals.
